A. Nurses
Registered Nurses – Minimum Requirements
1. Professional Registration
•Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
•Active registration
2. Work Experience
- 1 year experience in Ireland
3. Right to Work
- Valid visa or EU/Irish work rights
4. Garda Vetting ( Facilitated)
5. Mandatory Training
- Manual Handling
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
6. Professional References
- Be able to provide 2 clinical references
B. Healthcare Assistants
Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) – Minimum Requirements
1. Education / Certification
- Minimum: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) (formerly FETAC Level 5 )
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 6 months experience
3. Right to Work
- Valid work permission in Ireland
4. Garda Vetting ( facilitated)
5. Mandatory Training
- Manual Handling
- Infection Control
- Safeguarding
- Patient Moving & Handling
6. Soft Skills
- Communication skills
- Compassion and empathy
- Reliability and punctuality
7. References
- Be able to provide 2 professional references.
