Agency Nurses and Health Care Assistants Required for Home Care Services in Ireland

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for dedicated Agency Nurses and Health Care Assistants to join us in making a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in accordance with our care plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine checks as required for nursing roles.
  • Work closely with families and other members of the care team to ensure the well-being of clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
  • Exhibit a compassionate, professional demeanour at all times.
  • Adapt to the needs of various clients and display flexibility in the provision of care.

For Agency Nurses:

  • Valid NMBI registration. Previous experience in home care, community nursing, or a related field is preferred.

For Health Care Assistants:

  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or related field. Previous experience in a caregiving role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, according to client needs.
  • A full driving license and access to a car is preferred due to the nature of home visits.
